
Meet Our Founder
Terrence Hight, Jr. is the Founder and CEO of The Hight Effect and Hight Health. Both organizations provide solutions that address social determinants of health (SDOH) in underserved communities. For over a decade, Terrence has worked in the healthcare industry, leading projects for organizations such as Optum 360 (UnitedHealth Group), Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Dignity Health System, Northwell Health, and WellStar Health System. Through The Hight Effect, Terrence has helped establish over 500 startup companies, trained over 1,000 minority entrepreneurs, and assisted entrepreneurs in securing over $1.5 million dollars in funding. Throughout this time achieving his personal mission of connecting people to health care.
Terrence holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Georgia State University and an Executive MBA (EMBA) from Kennesaw State University’s globally ranked EMBA program. In his spare time, Terrence enjoys mentoring new entrepreneurs, playing the saxophone, and spending time with his wife and four sons.
